Based on Architects’ Act, Article 38, Clause 3, Item 2, KARB (Korea Architects Registration Board) systematically manages the candidates’ professional development, registration and renewal of licensed architects, and continuing education of registered architects, all of which is commissioned to KIRA (Korea Institute of Registered Architects). KARB’s goal is to comprehensively and systematically manage the entire qualification process of architects, from practical training of candidates to professional activities after getting registered.

Architect practical education is Lifelong learning process to ensure that the architect have academic knowledge and technical abilities as a licensed architect or a registered architect. And its purpose is encouraging the lifelong learning process as an architecture profession.
